Our silicone products called Bodyglides are formulated using clinical grades of silicone and are produced in government authorized manufactoring facilities. Bodyglides are also designed for multiple uses such as a skin conditioner, personal moisturizer and for massage. The Bodyglides do not absorb into the skin or migrate through skin tissue or membranes. Bodyglides are chemical and perservative free. Silicone has been used in the medical industry for more than 30 years. About 85% of condoms in the US market are lubricated with silicone. This allows condoms a five-year shelf-life. In the last 12 years Pjur Group and its affiliates have sold more than 70 million bottles of Bodyglide formulations without health incident. Bodyglide is an inert substance (meaning PH balanced), bacteria cannot chain or grow in Bodyglide.

Water based products called Aqua are safe and non-toxic. They do absorb into the skin and pass through the body. They are not as long lasting and do not have multiple uses. Water-based products contain chemicals and preservatives that are FDA approved. Pjur water based are FDA registered as Class II Medical Devices.

All products are controlled by strict governmental guideline and TÜV certified latex condom compatible. 99% of all condoms on the market are made out of latex. Studies were conducted using 150 condom brands. One latex safety test result and one condom experiment account are shown below.

Test: Compatibility with aforementioned products

A total of seven samples were put in contact with the substance Original Bodyglide in a way in which they were completely submerged in it. In total they were left under the effect of this substance for 14 days. Every 2 days tests were carried out regarding pressure and bursting volume, as well as breaking strength and breaking durability.

Density and changes in the material were carried out in the same rhythm with the aid of microscope analysis. In the context of these analysis no change in the product could be determined.

In aid to expand the experiment range of 3 of the samples were taken after 7 days of testing and exposed to temperatures of:
a)  42 grad celsius
b)  02 grad celsius
c)  as well as 42 grad Celsius and 02 grad celsius alternatively during 24 hours

The results of the tests remained unchanged. After our experiment concerning the tested substances no incompatibility can be determined i.e. Compatibility can be confirmed. We would like to point out that the tested products will remain in contact with the test substance Original Bodyglide so to provide a long term result which can always be recalled with validity in future.

Bodyglides can be cleaned from your body with soap and water. However, sometimes these products spill or suffer misuse and leave a residual shadow on some colors of fabric. Spot treating with your favorite stain lifter can help remove these shadows.

As with any stain, DO NOT HEAT-DRY FABRICS until stain is removed. Heat will set the stain. (Note that higher thread count fabrics will have a stronger bind and will need more aggressive spot treating.) You can always dry-clean higher grade fabrics.

AVOID STAINS! Remember that Bodyglide formulas are super-concentrated so you don't have to use nearly as much. Using these products in the appropriate manner ensures a stain-free experience. Use as directed.

Bodyglides can be removed from surfaces such as wood, ceramic tile, formica or other similar surfaces with general cleaning products.
