Personal Lubricants: Better & Best.
The difference between Pjur Basic Personal Glide and Pjur Original Bodyglide.
Both Pjur Original Bodyglide and Pjur Basic Personal Glide list the same ingredients; Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethicone, Dimethiconol. So what is the difference?
The main difference between these two personal lubricants resides in the similarity. Both lubes contain the medical grade silicone called cyclopentaslicoxane manufactured from Wacker, Germany's leader in quality. The cyclopentaslicoxane used in our superior formulas are medical grade D3 and D5.
Pjur Original Bodyglide (Original Eros Bodyglide too) contains the high-grade D5; much more expensive to produce because the silicone must be distilled. And even though Pjur Original Bodyglide is the world's best-selling silicone lubricant, there is a demand for a moderately priced formulation. Pjur Basic Personal Glide is made with a grade D3 silicone which is less expensive to produce. Most inexpensive lubes on the market are made with this grade of silicone.
However, with our particular formula, we surpass the "inexpensive" lubes and excel with a "very affordable" alternative in personal lubricants. Pjur's superb formula ratio of dimethicone and dimethiconol has an excellent skin feel; light, non-greasy and excellent spreadability.
Pjur Basic Personal Glide is the better, affordable silicone lubricant. And Pjur Original Bodyglide is the best, most luxurious silicone lubricant on the market today. The Better and the Best; different grades of silicone, different price, but both a great value.
